150817 Super Junior Wins Choice International Artist at 2015 Teen Choice Awards

Super Junior has become the first Korean artist to win a Teen Choice Award !

The winners of the 2015 Teen Choice Awards were revealed via the official Teen Choice website on August 16, announcing Super Junior as the winner for Choice International Artist. Choice International Artist is awarded to the most influential artist in the world, outside of the U.S., and Super Junior is gaining attention for beating out English boy band One Direction and Australian rock band 5 Seconds of Summer.


Not only that, Super Junior′s official fan club E.L.F shared in the celebrations with its very onwn Choice Fandom Award. As the first Korean artist to win a Teen Choice Award, Super Junior confirmed its global popularity once more.
The Teen Choice Awards, which began in 1999 on FOX, is an award ceremony that celebrates the world′s most popular and influential music, films, TV shows, entertainers and more. More than 25 million people voted for the Teen Choice Awards via social media channels this year.

Super Junior released special album Devil on July 16 and topped the iTunes Album Chart in 10 European and Asian countries as well as music, music video and weekly charts in China. Super Junior has been well received on music, album and music video charts worldwide.

Super Junior also rose to the top of Media Traffic′s United World Chart for the week on August 8 and ranked number on Taiwan′s online music site KKBOX′s Korean Album Top 100 Weekly Chart for three consecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, the 2015 Teen Choice Awards were held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on August 16, and the Super Junior members are currently focusing on individual activities since wrapping promotions for Devil.
