On May 4, member Siwon updated his Twitter with a selca (“self-captured photo”) and a mention of his latest activities. “Recording our 6th album, after finishing our tight schedule ^^. I finished my schedule in Korea with a lot of energy this time^^.” This is welcome news for Super Junior fans who have been waiting for comeback news since “A-CHA” promotions. This comeback is particularly special since member Kangin will be back on the main line-up after he left in 2009, and then spent two years on active duty in the military.
In other news,at least one track will be produced by One Way subgroup duo,D2O. Members Peter and Youngsky have been dropping hints and teasers about the collaboration since mid-April, and have even promised fans a “party anthem” that will “play all summer”. If recent Hip-Hop/Funk/Rock-and-Roll fusion singles “Amanda” and “Woo Woo Woo” are any indication, we can safely look forward to a get-you-out-of-your-seat summer track from Super Junior with a D2O twist. Super Junior’s fanclub, E.L.F., better get their dancing shoes ready.
Summer is right around the corner, so keep your eyes peeled for details surrounding the album concept, the tracklist and the music video!
